BYERLEY (BYERLY), Sheba Elizabeth - Putnam

A message of Jan 8 from Danville, Ill. states that Mrs. David Byerley [sic - Byerly] died at her home near there just as the body of her husband, a farmer, was being taken to the church for his funeral. The plans for the funeral were changed hastily and a double funeral was held Sunday. Both Byerley and his wife were born near Russellville. Mr. Byerley came to Illinois when a boy. He was married at the home of his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goff at Russellville. The couple had no children.
